Yes was my first concert in 1978 . Yes in the round at the Spectrum in Philadelphia Chris Squire was a phenomenal bass player.Playing his Rickenbacker bass... He announced just a month ago that he was battling leukemia.

R.I.P. Yes is my favorite rock-ish band ever, I loved the way that Chris Squire was always cranking out the bass but never went crazy and over the top, just fingers flying over the frets. I saw them three times back in the '70s.

A true legendary virtuoso passes...
One of the best shows I've ever seen was Yes at Largo, MD. Sold out show and I thought the roof was going to fly off during parts of that. They were all so very good at their parts. Chris of course on his incredible melodic playing and signature clean sound, Howe, Wakeman, Anderson, Bruford...jeez just so much talent and historic musical accomplishment.
